Not the Category Reflex: Four Looks Choco Refuses

What this means for you

Choco’s brand register names four category-reflex looks and refuses each one. If a stranger could guess “developer tool” from the gradient alone, the page is wrong. If a verification badge looks like a fintech transaction confirmation, the page is wrong. The refusal list is shorter than most brand books, and harder to follow.

The pitch

Generic devtools dark with electric blue or purple gradient; AI-startup glassmorphic hero with floating orbs; crypto and web3 neon-on-black; Notion and Confluence wiki softness with pastel emoji headers. Four looks, all banned by name. The cream paper, chocolate ink, and golden seal of the Choco Factory Ledger exist because the category-reflex palette is already taken.
