Five Fields Where Parallel Time Already Pays

tnp beginner 4 min read

What this means for you

TNP’s research file use-cases.md enumerates ten domains. Five of them already pay real money for weak versions of what TNP offers, which is where the early conversation should land. The other five are real but slower: regulation, scale, or storytelling get in the way before the protocol does.

The pitch

Lead with developer tooling and ML experiment tracking, because both already accept “fork the state, compare two runs, promote one” as the daily verb. Follow with collaborative knowledge bases and digital twins. Hold healthcare and legal back as case studies, not opening pitches, because both are gated on regulators accepting alternate-timeline evidence.

Who it’s for

A founder, advisor, or marketer choosing the first vertical to ship a TNP-backed product into.

Proof points

  • Ten scenarios are written down in docs/research/use-cases.md with named example apps: Time-Debug IDE, TemporalML Dashboard, MultiPath MMO, CityTwin, Regulatory Audit Console, CarePaths
  • Each scenario has explicit risks and mitigations recorded next to it, so a buyer conversation can already address objections
  • Two of the five lead segments (developer tools, ML experiments) need only an SDK plus a CLI to be testable; no consensus deployment required
  • Two of the five hold-back segments (legal, healthcare) flag the same blocker in the source: regulators have not ruled on alternate-timeline admissibility
